I am a postdoc researcher at the University of Heidelberg. My research revolves primarily around the development and application of machine learning techniques in astronomy with a particular focus on solving inverse problems with deep learning. Applications of the latter range from the characterisation of stars from photometry to the 3D reconstruction of dust distributions in star-forming cores based on dust emission observations. I am also quite interested in star forming regions in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
