I am a PhD student in theoretical computational astrophysics in the group of Prof. Ralf Klessen. My research focuses on star formation in the Milky Way, which I recreate as accurately as possible in high-resolution magnetohydrodynamic simulations. I also study star formation in so-called jellyfish galaxies in the state-of-the-art cosmological simulation IllustrisTNG. The aim of my research is to understand star formation in a great range of different galactic environments.
